BeValue Reload

„Be Value Reload” project is co-funded by the Erasmus + Sport programme of the European Union and will operate for 24 months, starting from 01/01/2021.

Be Value Reload (BeValueR) is continuation of other successfully accomplished project called Taekwon-Do for the mind – Get a Black Belt in Values with target groups children aged 7-11 years. The general objective of the new Be Value Reload project is formulated as:

“Encouraging the participation into sport and physical activity of Generation Z youths aged 12 to 17 years, by following the EC Council Recommendation on health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA) and EU Physical Activity Guidelines”

This general objective will be obtained by implementing a comprehensive set of activities, linked to the specific objectives (SO), as follows:

SO1/ Establishment of an innovative multi-dimensional partnership approach, for attraction into sport of Generation Z youths aged 12 -17 years, in the context of EU policy on health-enhancing physical activity.

The project will deliver innovative outputs – BeValue Reload Bonus System and ICT Multi-Platform Application, which are targeted to better apply the EU HEPA policy, in the context of Taekwon-do sport. This bonus system will allow Generation Z representatives aged 12 – 17 years to be evaluated each time they demonstrate key Taekwon-do qualities, such as respect, responsibility, self-control, mutual help thus increasing their physical activity frequency and performance results. They will share results, learn from open resources, interact with coaches for better sport performance. An innovative on-going training program will help also parents to work better with their children and bridge gaps related to the creation of a sustainable HEPA culture through the app.

BeValue Reload Bonus System will be developed and implemented based on an on-going interactive manner. The Bonus System will be integrated within the training dynamic of the sport partners and based on their specific working experience and interaction with youths aged 12 – 17 years and their parents. Thus, the Bonus System will contribute to the improvement of the interaction between coaches, teenagers aged 12-17 years and their parents, in the context of recognising EU HEPA policy as beneficial for development of healthy lifestyle.

“BeValueR” – ICT Multi-Platform Application will give a new vision on the usage of digital technologies in sport and HEPA. Moreover, this innovative approach is fully in line with the specifics of the life style of the main target group of the project – Generation Z youths aged 12 – 17 years.  It will support live video communication thus will be completely suitable for online trainings which is so relevant in this current situation. It will contain a library where every coach may upload any suitable information and every student’s progress can be monitored in real time. This innovative ongoing learning program will help parents work better with their children and overcome the gaps regarding sustainable culture of physical activity through the app.

In addition, two on-going interactive trainings for Generation Z youths aged 12 – 17 years and their parents will be developed and implemented.

SO2/ Establishment of a European network of ambassadors for popularisation of Taekwon-do amongst youths as beneficial form of health-enhancing physical activity – The project will create a strong European network of ambassadors for popularization of Taekwon-do as sport and values amongst youths. It will also foster synergy with, and between, local, regional, national and international policies to promote sport and physical activity and to address sport related challenges.

One multiplier sport event at the end of the project for 260 participants will celebrate the achievements of the project and promote HEPA and support of Erasmus+.
