European Cup 2016 – Umpires Application Form

Dear Members,

AETF HQ would like to ask the AETF Member Countries to complete and to send the country application of Umpires wishing to referee during the upcoming 7th Senior and Junior European Taekwon-Do and the International Cup for Children and Cadets to be held on 24-26th June 2016 in Cluj Napoca in Romania.

We ask the schools, clubs or national associations in Europe who wish to participate in the championships to select the umpires, to complete the application and to send it attaching also a current photography (passport size, min. 300 dpi) before or on 17th May 2016 to Mr. Attila Solti – Member of the AETF T&U Committee at the following email:

[email protected] (and a copy to the AETF HQ ([email protected]).

By May 20th 2016, the AETF T&U Committee will select 50 umpires from those who will apply. The selected umpires will have covered the accommodation and board and will receive salary for their work at the Euros 2016 from AETF.

All Umpires who will not be among the selected 50 referees will be able to come to Romania and to help at the European Cup if they wish and if approved by the Committee, but at their own or their association’s expenses and will not receive salary for their work from AETF.

UMPIRES

The Organizing Committee will cover full board accommodation in a ****hotel (water included) for 5 days / 4 nights from Thursday 23rd June 2016 to Monday 27th June 2016 or maximum of 2 umpires from each participating school/club/country (for maximum 50 umpires), by the following criteria:

_ School/Club/Country with 0-4 competitors may accredit 1 Umpire (not obligatory)

_ School/Club/Country with 5-15 competitors must accredit 1 Umpire

_ School/Club/Country with more than 15 competitors must accredit 2 Umpires

_ School/Club/Country that do NOT accredit an Umpire shall pay a 200,00 € fine for every missing Umpire.

Those umpires who work for the whole tournament will be entitled for a per diem allowance. All applications for umpires must be consulted with Organizing Committee. In case of reached quota, application for umpires may be cancelled (without fine) even for teams with 5 or more competitors. Umpires will wear the dress requirements as laid down in the ITF Umpire rules.

ATTENTION!

Countries should send their UMPIRE application form („European Cup 2016 Umpire application form) to Mr. Attila SOLTI ([email protected]) with a copy to the AETF HQ ([email protected]) AND on or before 15th May, 2016 in order to be accepted as an Umpire for the European Cup 2016.

The AETF T&U Committee shall provide the Umpire rooming list to Roumanian Taekwon-do ITF Federation on or before 20th May 2016 who shall then take care of the required hotel accommodation
